Project Description
This project involves the installation of cameras and screens in the arena over each "house" of our 4 rinks, together with the electronic equipment and cabling to make the system operational.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
Camera and screen installations are becoming increasingly common in Curling Club arenas. They are beneficial to both the participants and spectators as they give a view of the rocks in the opposite house down rink.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
This project will enhance the enjoyment of curling at our Club's facility for Members and out of town visiting curlers. It will also benefit Members and guests watching curling at our Club. The new equipment will grow the reputation of our Club which will grow our Membership and draw in more out of town curlers to our Bonspiels, thereby improving the on-going financial viability of our organization.
