Privacy statement

The handling of personal electronic information for the purposes of commerce is handled in Canada by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”). When you visit the Site, the PSOC will not collect your personal information unless you choose to use and receive online products and services that require it. Visitors to the public areas of the Site browse anonymously. Only aggregate data -- such as the number of hits per page -- are collected. Aggregate data are only used for internal and marketing purposes and do not provide any personally identifying information.

To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on the Site, members and other visitors are asked to register and provide some limited information. These data are submitted voluntarily. Similar information may be submitted to the PSOC through membership applications, conference or seminar registration, publication orders, and subscriptions. The PSOC only uses this information to enhance its products and distribution of those products to its members.
