Mark Jansen Boat Fundraiser

Project Description

Leander Boat Club is raising money to purchase a Hudson Boat Works 8+ rowing shell in honor of Mark Jansen. Mark passed away while doing what he loved, rowing and competing, at the Head of the Welland Regatta in 2024,with his friends and fellow members of  Leander Boat Club. Mark loved the sport of rowing and was integral in the running of Leander. His loss has left the Ontario Rowing Community heart broken

used for the following cause(s):

To purchase a new Hudson Boat Works 8+ rowing shell that will hell support all future members of Leander Boat club Members

How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.

The project will allow future generations of rowers develop their skills to hopefully be able to compete for Leander, Ontario and Canada.
