Ontario Lacrosse First Stick Program
Project Description
The Ontario Lacrosse First Stick Program is a grassroots participation initiative designed to support new and developing minor lacrosse clubs by providing age-appropriate lacrosse equipment and program support to help deliver affordable, accessible youth lacrosse programming in local communities.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
Proceeds will also support program administration, coordination, and oversight to ensure the First Stick Program is delivered consistently, equitably, and in alignment with Ontario Lacrosse Association policies, safety standards, and development models. The program is intended to reduce barriers to entry, support early sport participation, and assist clubs in delivering quality introductory lacrosse experiences for young participants.

The Ontario Lacrosse First Stick Program supports the long-term development of amateur sport by increasing early access to lacrosse and strengthening community-based entry pathways for young participants.
