St. Catharines Rowing Club - Growth and Support Fund
Project Description
The Growth and Support Fund will ensure the St. Catharines Rowing Club offers competitive and recreational rowing to anyone interested regardless of gender, skill level or ability to pay and will ensure athletes have access to high. level equipment, skilled coaching and a safe, well maintained facilty.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
Proceeds from The Growth and Support Fund will support:
- athletes' annual fees, regatta entries and travel expenses;
- coach recruitment and training;
- the purchase and maintenance of high level equipment.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
St. Catharines athletes will continue to compete in national events, namely the Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Association and Royal Canadian Henley Regattas and to train for the Canadian National team.
