Replacement of the Refrigeration Piping System
Project Description
Replacement of the refrigeration piping system that provides cooling underneath 8 sheets of the curling ice surface. The current cooling system is brine system with a life span of 30 years and is rapidly approaching end of life. The system is essential to the creation of the ice surface, and the club could not operate without this replacement.

How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
As renewal of the refrigeration piping system is necessary to ensure continued operations of the club.
We offer a wide range of curling program's for new and experienced curlers, ages 6 to 96.
New members are always welcome and "Learn to Curl" programs are offered each season.
Our leagues provide a broad range of curling experience, competitive and recreational, daytime and evenings.
We offer a Junior Program for ages 6 -19, providing coach and instruction with qualified instructors, which is also provided to Special Olympics once a week each season.
Ice rentals are available for individuals, friends, family, co-workers or corporate events, also providing instruction.
Our organization caters to over 1000 curlers every year, through regular memberships, rentals, provincial play-downs and bonspiels. Bringing curlers from across the province and beyond.
This project will enable the facility to continue to offer curling opportunities, to grow, to increase participation and keep community members active.
