South Niagara Canoe Club (SNCC) Development Fund
Project Description
This project will promote paddling sports in the Niagara Region by helping to support, grow and sustain SNCC's diverse year-round recreational and competitive programs for paddlers of all ages and abilities.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
Proceeds will be used to help offset the rising operational costs involved in providing a full range of introductory and advanced paddling and training programs for participants of all ages and abilities in the various paddling disciplines.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
The South Niagara Canoe Club (SNCC), founded in 2008, offers paddling sports, including competitive Sprint Canoe/Kayak, summer camps for children, parasports, paddle-all, Masters Canoe-Kayak, Dragon Boat (including para and Breast Cancer Survivor crews), and outrigger and stand-up paddling.
