"Raise the Roof" - Build a New Boathouse

Project Description

Help us "Raise the Roof" to build a new boathouse in Kitchener Park to provide calmer water for rowing opportunities for all Orillia and area youth and adults who want to row competitively and recreationally.

All proceeds will be used to pay for building expenses to build a new boathouse.

How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.

With a new larger boathouse on calmer water, the Orillia Rowing Club to become a premier location for competitive rowing in Central Ontario.  This can lead directly to youth rowers seeking provincial and national team rowing opportunities in the future after training in Orillia.
