Women's Tackle Football
Project Description
2023 is the Ontario Women's Football League's inaugural season. The league is facilitating women's 6v6 tackle football. There are currently 9 programs scattered around the province that are fielding teams. Peel is an early entrant to the league is entering U19 and U16 teams.
The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):
Offset the fees associated with player registration, transportation to games and the purchase of female-specific football equipment.
How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.
Women's Tackle Football is new in Ontario, but is growing rapidly. The inclusion of women in football will help it the sport grow.
