Peterborough Golf and Country Club provides support for new, returning and competitive curlers. PGCC has over 200 members and works with groups of all levels from "Blind Curlers" to our elite competitive league. With our Learn to Curl program we have introduced curling to several hundred people in the last 7 years. Pre-Covid we ran clinics for elementary and high school students and ice tome for Trent University. PGCC has hosted many advanced curling clinics with expert curlers including John Epping. PGCC has sent at least one team of 4 to compete in the Senior Men's, Senior Mixed, Master Men's and the Grand Master Mens's O.C.A. events. It is vital to have a leading facility that exceeds expectations for these curlers to learn and improve their skills. This project will support us in maintaining our programs with the quality of ice necessary to continue to grow armature curling on a local and national level.
