217 - Lakefield Curling Club

LCC COVID Sustainability & Club Repair Project

Project Description

The Lakefield Curling Club has lost $40,000 as the result of the COVID shutdown.  In addition during the COVID shutdown two unplanned repair projects needing immediate attention: 1) Ceiling Truss Repairs ($30,000) and 2) Front Porch Repairs ($7,000). This project will solicit donations from Club Members. Being a NSTF-Ontario project would allow members to receive tax donations for their donations.

The proceeds from this fundraising will be
used for the following cause(s):

Proceeds will be used to re-coup the COVID losses and make the repairs as outlined.

How this project will assist in promoting
or developing amateur sport on a national
level.

Local curling clubs are the essential feeder units providing curlers who compete at all levels up to and including the national level.
