Rugby
Rugby is a popular sport worldwide with a huge fanbase. Known for its full-contact nature and rough-and-tumble plays, rugby combines the consistent cardiovascular strain of soccer with the impact of American football. A strategic game, rugby requires each team to advance the ball up the pitch, passing the ball amongst team members laterally or backwards, while the opposing team attempts to tackle the ball carrier, at which point play is restarted in a scrum. The team scores by grounding the ball in the opposing team’s goal.
